Before & After Care

Before & After Care Program

Before and After School Care is provided during the school year for children ages five through twelve.  The morning schedule include a snack and free play.  Every afternoon consists of active free play, homework time, organized games, and activities (which may include science projects, arts and crafts, cooking, etc.)  On days when public schools are closed and we are open, the program has theme days.  Themes have included Pajama Day, Mystery Day, Career Day, and a Talent Show.  A bus from Melwood Elementary School stops at the center.

Summer  Program

We also offer a full time child care program during the summer for children ages five through twelve.  These weeks are packed with many outings and experiences that give it a camp feeling.  Each week has a different theme to which week day projects relate.  Fridays involve a culminating activity which ties things together.  Other activities include weekly field trips, swimming, arts and crafts, service projects, Bible time, special guests, and recreation.
