We are a body of believers committed to worshipping and following Jesus Christ. As a part of the Church of the Nazarene, we join with other Christians in spreading the gospel around the world. A place where EVERYONE is welcome and where together we can grow in our faith as we LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE and SERVE THE WORLD.

Christ reached out to people of all ages, races and backgrounds and at Melwood we strive to do the same. That is why we have a place for everyone to study the Scriptures, fellowship together, and minister to others through a variety of service opportunities. We invite you to be a part of God's mission in the life of our church, our community and in our world.

Melwood Church of the Nazarene came into existence on October 31, 1971 with the merger of the Faith and Grace Churches of the Nazarene. Dedication of the current facilities took place in December of 1973. The Church of the Nazarene is a conservative, evangelical denomination which has its roots in Wesleyanism and the holiness movement. We are committed to the doctrines of the Christian faith and the message of Christian holiness.
